Manos de Ayuda, Inc. is a non-profit corporation that provides rehabilitaÂtion, health education, medical and therapy equipment and supplies. Pinacate Biosphere Reserve Conservation
The Gran Pinacate and Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve is considered one of the most unique volcanic zones in the world. The conservation of these gigantic craters and the surrounding areas are an important part of our ancient history and culture. Daily self guided tours are available from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Visitors must register at the office as they enter the reserve. The reserve is located in the ejido Nayarit, which is half way between Rocky Point and Sonoyta.
